Value Villages and Vintages of Burgundy

With Burgundy season once again in full swing, this March, Honest Grapes once again invites Comoclubbers to join for an evening dedicated to uncovering the best-value gems from Burgundy. Expect a tour through the “insider” side of the region: the villages, vineyards and winemakers that Burgundy lovers whisper about, where quality is high and prices still wonderfully sane.
Honest Grapes co-founder and dedicated Burgundy collector Nathan Hill will be your guide as we explore a cracking line-up of over 40 wines from some of our favourite growers: the ever-impressive Benoît Girardin, the beautifully classical wines of Eric Boigelot, the resurgent brilliance of Edouard Delaunay, the precision and purity of de Montille, the superb value of Rapet and Pierre Meurgey, and the elegant, expressive touch of Jane Eyre and Château-Fuissé, alongside a few hidden gems from Pousse d'Or!
This guided tasting will include a self-scored blind tasting quiz, where you'll have the chance to taste wines made by a selection of these producers, but in different vintages from 2018-2023 (and maybe a few 2024 samples). Get the village (appellation), level and vintages right to sharpen your tasting capabilities and understand what makes vintage variation such an appealing part of building a Burgundy collection.
As a Comoclub exclusive, the first four Comoclubbers who sign up receive two tickets for the price of one.
When: Tuesday, 17 March, 6.30-8.30pm Where: COMO The Halkin, 5 Halkin Street, SW1X 7DJ Price: GBP80 per person
*Please note, tickets are non-refundable for all dinners. If you are unable to join, please find a replacement. Otherwise we will endeavour to re-sell your seat but offer credit/refund only if successful.
