Nestled along China’s southeastern coast, Fujian offers a captivating blend of seaside charm, mountain sanctuaries, and living heritage. Historic port cities that once opened China to the world, serene tea mountains veiled in mist, and rural valleys dotted with ancient circular Tulou dwellings. Renowned for its deep-rooted tea culture, Fujian is the birthplace of world-famous Oolong varieties, and its culinary excellence gained global recognition - in late 2025, Quanzhou was named a UNESCO “City of Gastronomy”.
The journey begins in Xiamen, a cosmopolitan island city admired for its colonial architecture and refined dining scene. We’ll then travel inland to Anxi, home of fragrant Tieguanyin Oolong, before continuing to Quanzhou, an ancient maritime hub filled with history and faith. From there, we ascend the lush slopes of Wuyi Mountain for an immersive Dahongpao tea experience with UNESCO-listed landscapes. The adventure concludes in Taxia, where time-honored Tulou clusters stand as architectural marvels and symbols of communal life, offering a profound glimpse into Fujian’s cultural heart.
